bedded high-tech tertiary care hospital in New Delhi, India. Since
2006.

DIABETES & OBESITY CENTRE at Paschim Vihar, New Delhi since 1996.
The centre is equipped with latest in technology and has
facilities for diabetes & obesity counseling, diet counseling,
diabetes education, laboratory facilities, facilities for vascular
profiling for evaluation of early atherosclerosis and peripheral
arterial disease, vibration perception and heat-cold perception
testing for evaluation of neuropathy, cardiac autonomic neuropathy
testing, and foot scan.

Conceived, designed
and conducted a very successful OBECARE program – a two days
residential program for medical specialists for orientation in
programs in different cities in India. The program has been
attended by more that one hundred medical specialists,
endocrinologists, cardiologists including some departmental heads
from leading medical institutions. It is an ongoing program and
the next one is provisionally planned for February 2008.

Conceived, designed and conducted a dedicated international-level
Diabetes updating program for Medical Specialists in Nepal, called
DIABETES GOLDEN CLUB – a full day program attended by leading
physicians of Nepal, already conducted two modules in last 6
months. The program is very well received and appreciated, to the
extent that some of the attendees have requested to come to my
centre for diabetes training. The next one is planned for January
2008.

Conducting regular CMEs on various
aspects of Diabetes & Obesity for family physicians and medical
specialists at Diabetes & Obesity Centre, 20 CMEs conducted in
2007 and 3 CMEs so far in the current year.
